With a never-ending list of things to do, people have less time than ever before, which is altering the way content is consumed.

Listening on the go, and show availability in an engaging and informative format is what’s driving audio consumption at a rapid speed.

And it’s only going to become greater as people become more busier and start focusing on time hacks, productivity tools and ways to amplify efficiency.

This makes podcasts a practical, easy and accessible mode for delivering content.

I’m all over it. We’ve got some pretty exciting stuff in the pipeline that I can’t talk about yet but what I will say is that I’m pro podcasts and you should be too.

There’s a real opportunity in the market right now to make a dent in this space because so many industries are slow to come to the party when it comes to audio. Right now, you could go to the top of the charts and 98% of industries won’t have podcasts there…and if they do, I bet it’s few and far between.

Launching a podcast is the perfect opportunity to present yourself as an absolute expert in your field and really add value to people’s lives in a way that proves you know what you’re talking about.

We are jumping on it in a very big way. You’re going to see some of our secret projects come to fruition soon as we invest significant amounts of time, money and even travel into this medium.

But you don’t have to go to extremes to be successful and to make waves.

Like I tell people with video, if you have a smartphone and the internet, then there’s no excuse you can’t be putting stuff out – same goes for podcasts. Focus on your niche, get clear on your message and start developing an audio presence.
