Kerwin Rae with another Peak Performance Productivity Tip just for you to show you how to get more done in your business day and your businessweek.
Now have you ever noticed how some people seem to be able to get more done in a day then other seem to be able to do in a week? There is no accident there, we all have 24 hours, 7 days in a week, 24 hours a day and 60 minutes in every hour. it’s not rocket science but it’s how we delegate our time and more importantly delegate our energy that determines how we actually get things done.
In today’s video I am going to teach you a process called Schedule It Done!
We’ve got sort of an ethos culture at play in Kerwin Rae about getting it done. Get the job done is our moto. We get it done and we make sure we do it in the most productive and efficient service oriented way. One of the things that I teach my team to do, that I am going to show you how to do, is a little process that ensures that your To- Do list doesn’t just become a To-Do list it becomes something that you complete every single day.
There are 3 steps to Schedule It Done! And I am going to teach those to you right now.
Step 1 – This might not seem like rocket science but if you are not doing it you are behind the 8 ball which is Create a To Do list! I am pretty sure you have heard of a To-Do list and you might be thinking “are you serious, is this the key?” it’s not the key but it’s one of them. You must create a to do list every single day of all the things you must have completed by the end of the day. But have you ever noticed that some people create a To Do list but they are lucky if they can get 30% or maybe even 50% of it done. The next thing I am going to show you to ensure that you get 100% of your To Do list done every single day. Which is, Schedule it done.
Step 2 – The second thing you need to do is actually Schedule It. Now you schedule it in your calendar, you schedule it in your diary whatever system you use to manger your time and your energy. You take this To Do list and you schedule it into a day, which you segment and this is really the key, and then;
Step 3 – which ensures that it all comes together, is called Protect the schedule. Protect your time; protect your schedule because it is this mechanism here that ensures that things get done here. Because, have you ever noticed when you are doing something that perhaps maybe you are not completely enjoying it, and every day there are things that you have to do that you may not necessarily enjoy. And so, you look for any opportunity to be distracted or deflected or misguided from what you are currently focusing on. Protect it is about not allowing ourselves to be distracted and really focusing on this to ensure that 100% of the schedule gets done every single day.
Now if you do this I promise you 2 things: not only will you start getting a 100% of things done every single day but I guarantee you that within 3 weeks of doing this you will be twice as productive getting twice as much done, having more free time to focus on the things that you love whether that be your friends, your family, your health or even more time on your business learning how to make it more money.
My name is Kerwin Rae I hope Schedule It Done is as helpful to you as much as it has been helpful for me, and I look forward to seeing you again real soon. Take Care.
