How do we create a hunger and a desire that’s so strong, our motivation never wavers?
The way that I stay hungry is by focusing on my purpose, by focusing on my mission and by focusing on where I want to go.
If you have a dream and a goal to work towards that’s so strong, working hard will never get old.
Because the way that we stay hungry is by looking at what we’re here to do and focusing on the work that has to be done.
Most importantly it’s about realising how precious life really is.
Your life is finite and you don’t know if you’re going to wake up tomorrow, that’s the reality of it. One minute you’re here, and the next you could be gone. You only have one shot.
Every single day without fail, when I wake up and when I go to bed, I ask myself the question, “Is this going to be my last day?”
Now seven near death experiences will do that to you. They make you realise how fragile life is, and how it can be taken away at a moment’s notice.
I know that there’s every chance I may not be here for another day, another week, another month, another year, or another 10 or 20 years.
In the time that we have here on this incredible planet we have to make the most of it, because when that time is up, when the bell goes, I guarantee you you’re going to be wanting more and it’s going to be too late.
Don’t die with your music inside you.
Find something that fires you up so much, something that gives you a deep sense of meaning and purpose, and then propel yourself into it and make every day count.
You got this.
